The New Business gets Landor’s and Onads’ biz in their kitty

The New Business (TNB), a business and growth development advisory services firm announced the first few assignments it has worked on since its launch in mid-July. They include projects for Landor; a WPP company that is a leading design and branding agency and Onads – an independent integrated creative agency. In addition, TNB also partnered with a Gurgaon-based agency for a digital pitch.
afaqs! recently reported that Shiv Sethuraman, the former group president of Cheil, South West Asia, has launched a business acquisition service for communication agencies of all disciplines and sizes, called ‘The New Business’.
Talking about the early days since the launch, Sethuraman says in a company statement, “Early reaction to TNB has been positive, with several agencies keen to know more about our offer and how we can help them. It is all thanks to the faith reposed in us by people like Lulu Raghavan, MD – Landor India and Jignesh Maniar, founder – Onads that we’ve been able to get runs on the board from the very first over.”
“What’s more, both assignments are of a very strategic nature. Naturally, it feels good to be part of something meaningful,” Sethuraman adds.
Talking about TNB, Raghavan says, “I called Shiv (Sethuraman) right away after reading about the launch of TNB… I loved the fact that he was adding value to my business from the very first lunch before we even had any formal arrangement. TNB’s insights on new revenue streams to power growth have been super helpful.”
Maniar adds, “I wanted to get Onads future ready and when Shiv got in touch with me, I knew that he was the perfect person to do this. Once I shared my thoughts and ideas with him, Shiv literally took charge of the project, bringing all his energy and experience into putting together a very exciting proposition for marketers.”
