Vitamins For Luscious & Shiny Hair

Hair loss issues are faced by a lot of us. In order to fix the hair problems, sometimes we need to watch the nutrients that we are taking in as well. Hair problems also include thinning of hair, weak hair, split ends, limp and lifeless hair, itchy scalp, dandruff, and a lot more. These hair problems are often nutritional deficiencies in the body. To combat this, micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) are required in minute quantities.

Vitamin B-Complex: Eat pulses, nuts, yeast, meat, and certain green leafy vegetables in the diet in order to provide the body with Vitamin B-Complex.

Biotin: This Vitamin helps in stimulating keratin growth and increases follicle production. Biotin can be found in egg yolk, milk, peanuts, almonds, soybeans, yogurt, and sweet potatoes.

Vitamin A: Vitamin A helps the skin glands to produce sebum – this helps in moisturizing the scalp and keeping the hair healthy. It can be found in cod liver oil, carrots, spinach, peaches, and broccoli.

Vitamin E: This Vitamin can be obtained from wheat germ oil, walnuts, pecan nuts, dried beans, soybeans, and green leafy vegetables

Vitamin C: Benefits of Vitamin C include the prevention of premature greying of hair, hair loss, and dandruff. It can be found in citrus fruits, strawberries, kiwi, cantaloupe, pineapple, tomatoes, bell pepper, and dark green vegetables.
